A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect as Wayne County and Eastern North Carolina brace for Tropical Storm Isaias.

Isaias is expected to bring heavy rains and tropical storm force winds to the region this evening through Tuesday morning.

Flooding and downed trees and power lines are possible, as well as isolated tornadoes.

A Flash Flood Watch is also in effect for Wayne County from 2 PM Monday afternoon until 2 PM Tuesday.
