As of Friday, the Wayne County Health Department has received notification of 2,416 total positive cases of COVID-19. 98 of these cases are attributed to congregate living facilities and 1,866 are cases from outside any type of congregate facility. 2,204 of the 2,416 individuals who tested positive are now considered recovered, leaving an estimated total of 172 cases that are currently active in Wayne County.

The Health Department received notice of three additional deaths this week. The total number of deaths in Wayne County is currently 40.
