As COVID-19 cases continue to emerge in communities and universities across North and South Carolina, testing remains the most valuable resource we have in response. Quest Diagnostics — which has a lab in Greensboro, N.C., and is the world’s leading provider of diagnostic testing — has teamed up with Walmart to open 65 COVID-19 pop-up testing sites at Walmart Neighborhood Market locations in the Carolinas.
Two of these drive-thru testing sites are in Goldsboro:
- 1144 Tommy’s Road
- 4350 U.S. Highway 70 East
UPDATED HOURS: Testing is available Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (no testing from 1:00 to 2:30).
Tbe tested, individuals must have an electronic doctor’s order sent to Quest and have a scheduled appointment. Upon arriving for your appointment, individuals should stay in their vehicle and look for the pharmacy drive-thru. Do not go inside the Walmart store. All appointments are drive-thru, observed self-collection. No walk-ups will be seen. Consumers can visit http://patient.questdiagnostics.com/myquestcovidtest to find the Walmart Neighborhood Market COVID-19 testing location closest to them and make an appointment to visit.
