Police are investigating a Goldsboro shooting that left one person injured.  Just after 7:30 PM Monday, a ShotSpotter alert was received near the 1700 block of S. Slocumb Street.  The Goldsboro Police Department responded to the scene. A few moments later, officers received a call from Wayne UNC Health Care informing them that a victim, 32-year-old Lindsay Young of Goldsboro, had been driven to the hospital and was receiving medical treatment for non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Goldsboro Police Investigators responded to the scene and the investigation continues.
