On Thursday afternoon, the Kinston Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the area of College Street. Officers began searching the area and located several shell casings on the 900 block of College Street
On Friday, officers with the KPD obtained warrants on 20-year-old Rahmel Gray and 22-year-old Tysheek Gray, both of Pink Hill, for Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling and Possession of Firearm by Felon.
Rahmel Gray was taken into custody at his residence with the assistance of the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Department on Friday. The Kinston Police Department now reports Tysheek Gray turned himself in at the Kinston Police Department on Monday.
