Communities Supporting Schools of Wayne County is hoping you will Have a Heart for Kids!

Selena Bennett, the Executive Director of Communities Supporting Schools, appeared on Jeff Farrow’s Morning Show on Goldsboro’s Greatest Hits 1150 and 98.3 to talk about putting together the virtual fundraiser during what’s been a tough year.

Bennett notes the organization has kept up with its mission of helping youth be successful in school even during the pandemic.

Communities Supporting Schools managed to keep its programs running – virtually and in-person when possible – since last March.

Numerous local residents will entertain the online attendees throughout the evening this Friday.

Bennett says she’s hopeful Have a Heart for Kids will raise $50,000.

Communities Supporting Schools also has an opportunity to win a $10,000 Challenge Grant through the Simply East Foundation.

Communities Supporting Schools of Wayne County holds its Have a Heart for Kids fundraiser this Friday, March 26, at 7 PM.
