Harry Stephen Massey, 65, passed away 2nd day, April 2021 at Friends Homes-Guilford, in Greensboro, NC. Born in Wayne County on September 17, 1955, he was the son of the late Lloyd M. Massey and Eunice Overman Massey.

Harry, a lifelong Quaker, was a member of Woodland and New Hope Friends Meetings before moving to Washington DC where he became a member of Friends Meeting of Washington. Harry worked for the National Grange and several professional electronics associations while living in Arlington, VA. He moved back to Mount Olive, NC in 2015, and then to Friends Homes in 2018, where he joined Jamestown Friends Meeting.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Hollowell-Massey Cemetery in Dudley. Friends may call on the family at the homeplace on Massey Road following the service. [A memorial service and celebration of life will be planned for a later date.]

Harry is survived by his brothers, Macon Massey (Karen) of Dudley and Frank Massey (Beth) of Asheboro; nieces, Ellen Massey Mosbrucker (Eugene) of Washington, DC and Ashley Massey (Jen) of Hickory, NC; nephew Brian Massey (Eleanor Walton) of Mt. Rainier, MD; and three grandnephews.
