A second suspect is charged in a monthslong series of storage unit break-ins.
The Goldsboro Police Department reports 39-year-old Crystal L. Sharp of Goldsboro was arrested Tuesday evening. She is charged with 33 counts of Breaking and Entering, 33 counts of Felony Larceny, and 33 counts of Possession of Stolen Property. Sharp was remanded to the custody of the Wayne County Jail under a $503,000 secured bond.
From January 21st to July 19th, the Goldsboro P.D. took 33 reports for storage unit burglaries at two Compass Self Storage locations on the 200 block of N. Berkeley Boulevard and the 1300 block of Parkway Drive.
Earlier this week, the GPD reported similar warrants were served on 30-year-old Joe N. Sharp of Seven Springs in this case.
