William “Bill” Everette Talton, 84, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Bill was born in Johnston County on September 6, 1936 to the late Johnathan Samuel Talton and Vannie Davis Talton.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his brothers Frank Talton, George Talton, and Sam Talton, Jr.
Bill is survived by his wife, Marie Howell Talton of 64 years; sons, Bobby Talton, of Princeton, Wayne Talton and wife Lori of Morgantown W. V; daughters, Janet Martin and husband Edward of Princeton, Dianne Green and husband Dave of Raleigh; sister, Louise Talton Sauls of Selma; eight grandchildren, Trey Martin and wife Anna, Mirinda Phillips and husband Matt, Dustin Talton, Landon Talton and wife Becca, Holden Talton, Jason Leach, Jenny Green, Paige Green, Will Green; three great grandchildren, Kaylee Marie Rose, Callie Marie Talton, and Rhett Martin Phillips.
He was a loving husband, daddy, grandpa, brother, and friend. He will be sorely missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who know and loved him.
The Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel with Reverend Marvin Ownley and Reverend Vernon Braswell officiating. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton. Private Committal will be held at the Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery in Princeton.
