Schools in Lenoir County will be better prepared to save student lives in the event of an emergency. Lenoir County Sheriff Ronnie Ingram has presented Bleeding Control Kits to schools across the county in recent days. Each kit costs approximately $900 and they were funded thanks to a grant from the Governor’s Crime Commission for School Safety. As part of the grant, school staff received “Stop the Bleed” training. Schools receiving the kits include Lenoir County Public Schools, Arendell Parrot Academy and Bethel Christian Academy.
