On Wednesday, a trailer was reportedly stolen from a residence on Smith Grady Road in Deep Run.  Lenoir County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the call, gathered information on the theft, and quickly shared that info with neighboring law enforcement agencies and social media.  Thanks to the public’s help, the sheriff’s office was able to locate the stolen trailer and suspect in the case.  The trailer was returned to the owner.  The suspect, Michael S. Strickland, was arrested and charged with Felony Larceny and Felony Possession of Stolen Goods.  He was confined at the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Jail under a $15,000 secured bond.
