(GDN) — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports a pair of drug arrests.
On November 12th, A Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled a vehicle over in the northeast area of the county for a motor vehicle violation. The vehicle was searched with illegal narcotics allegedly being found. 24-year-old Rita L. Daniels of Goldsboro was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance. Her bond was set at $7,500 secured.
On November 13th, a Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a call for service following a disturbance in the northeast area of the county. The investigation reportedly revealed 27-year-old Taylor D. Cox of Goldsboro was highly impaired and in possession of meth. She was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine. Cox was given a $500 secured bond.
