(GDN) – New cases of the coronavirus continue decreasing in Wayne County.
According to Thursday’s figures from the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services, 1,134 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Wayne County over the past two weeks. That’s approximately 1,100 fewer cases than this time last week.
Wayne County has recorded 367 coronavirus-related deaths since the pandemic began. That’s an additional 8 COVID deaths since this time last week.
Over 3,686 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 across North Carolina.
