Wayne Community College has expanded and renovated their welding facilities and will be having a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of the facility Monday morning at the Hocutt Building on the WCC campus.

The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. with remarks from WCC President Patty Pfeiffer, WCC Trustee Vice Chair Veda McNair, Wayne County Commission Chair Joe Daughtery, Golden LEAF Senior VP/General Counsel Ted Lord, Duke Energy Corporation District Manager/Government and Community Relations Derrick Remer, and WCC Welding Students Julia Bentley and Caroline Franco.
