Parker Steven Ivey, 19, of Goldsboro went to his heavenly home Sunday, March 27, 2022 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill surrounded by his loving family.
Homegoing service will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton. The family will greet friends following the graveside service. Parker would want those attending to dress casual as he would do.
Parker was born in Wayne County on June 1, 2002 to John Steven Ivey and Melanie Daughtry Ivey. He was a graduate of Faith Christian Academy Class of 2020 and member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
Parker had a love to detail and sell cars. He was employed with Darryl Floars Motorcars in Goldsboro.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Melanie Ivey; his maternal grandparents, Anne and Don Daughtry of Goldsboro; his beloved cat, “Cici”; Uncle Jeff Ivey; Aunts Kimberly Sugg, Donna Daughtry and Kelly Broome; and cousin, Caleb Broome for whom Parker was a great role model.
Parker was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mallie and Betsy Honeycutt and Major and Lynda Ivey.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
