(GDN) – On March 30, 2022, at 11:30 a.m., Goldsboro Police responded to a robbery that had just occurred in the 500 block of North Audubon Avenue. The victim said he had been robbed at gunpoint by two unknown males who were riding in a dark colored four-door sedan. Police say a unknown amount of cash was stolen.

After further investigation by the Goldsboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, on April 5, 2022, 19-year-old Quavarjai S. Davis was arrested and charged for robbery with a dangerous weapon. Davis later turned himself in at the Wayne County Magistrate’s Office where he received a $100,000 secured bond and was confined to the Wayne County Jail.
