Volunteers were honored at the Wayne County Board of Commissioners Meeting in Goldsboro on April 19, 2022.

United Way of Wayne County Executive Director, Sherry Archibald, presented a proclamation naming April 17-22, 2022 as National Volunteer Appreciation Week in Wayne County.

During the presentation, nominees of the Governor’s Volunteer Service Award were awarded a certificate from the United Way of Wayne County.
