October 9, 2022, 84, Dudley –

Betty Lillian Cobbs Guy, age 84, passed away Sunday morning.  Born in Mt. Olive, NC, she was the daughter of the late Harry Lee and Elizabeth Martin Cobbs and the wife of the late Charles Thomas Guy.  She was a graduate of Rex Hospital School of Nursing and was a retired registered nurse with Womack Army Medical Center in Fayetteville, N.C.  Betty was a member of the Northwood Temple Church in Fayetteville. 

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 12:00 noon at Northwood Temple Church, 4250 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC with Rev. John Hedgepeth officiating. A committal service will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley, NC. 

She is survived by her sons, Michael Guy & wife, Elena, David Guy & wife, Melissa, Matthew Guy & wife, Virginia, Daniel Guy & fiancée, Barbara Moore, Philip Guy & wife, Miranda; her brother, Johnny Cobbs; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Julian Guy.
