Randall Lee Fulghum, 29, of Fremont passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
Services are incomplete and will be announced by Shackleford Funeral Home in Fremont.
Randall was born in Wilson County on March 2, 1993. Randall graduated from Charles B Aycock high school with honors and was captain of the basketball team. He graduated from North Carolina State with honors. Randall also received his Master’s degree from East Carolina University in Engineering. Randall’s two great-loves were his mama and basketball. Also his three fur babies, Lucy, Baby Girl, and Hank. The family was his everything. Playing basketball and hide and seek with his niece and nephews would light up his day. Basketball was one of his many passions. He worked hard to achieve his goal of becoming an engineer. Randall enjoyed spending time with his friends as he cherished them all.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Tami and Donnie Mooring of Fremont; his sister, Kimberly Fulghum Flores, and husband, Tony of Pine Level and Candie Mooring Valdiviezo and husband, Carlos of Fremont; his maternal grandparents, Brenda and Stanley Joyner of Fremont; his paternal grandfather, George Fulghum of Sims; step-grandparents, Lewis and Kathleen Mooring of Fremont; Uncles, Stevie Boswell of Elm City, Cale Fulghum and wife, Joy of Sims, Mike Fulghum of Sims, Robert Mooring and wife, Pamela of Fremont, Travis Mooring and Courtney of Fremont and his nieces and nephews, Bryson, Lexie, and Kamden Valdiviezo.
In addition to his father, George Randall “Randy” Fulghum, Randall was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Peggy Fulghum and his cousin, Stephanie Boswell.
The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 North Pine Street in Fremont.
