Goldsboro Police Department officers responded to a shooting that occurred in the 200 block of Randall Lane on Wednesday. 

The victim, 32 year old Montario Brewington was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Brewington had been driven in a private vehicle and stopped in the 2800 block of Royall Avenue to call EMS. The victim was taken to UNC Health Wayne for treatment.

The Goldsboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and the investigation is ongoing. The victim’s last known condition was critical but stable.
