Conference Carolinas had two institutions under consideration in the first NCAA Southeast Region Men’s and Women’s Tennis Rankings, which were released by the NCAA on Thursday. 

New this year for NCAA Division II sports with regional rankings, schools will be listed as under consideration in alphabetical order for the first ranking of the season.

Francis Marion was listed as a team under consideration in the men’s ranking while Mount Olive is under consideration for the women.

The Trojans are 9-10 overall this season but are 5-1 in league play. They are seeking a third straight regular season championship and a second consecutive tournament title this season.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Tennis Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
