In May, Wayne County Public Schools (WCPS) graduated more than 200 seniors from Wayne School of Engineering, Goldsboro High and Wayne Early/Middle College High School. Over the next week, the district’s five traditional calendar high schools will hold their ceremonies with approximately 940 seniors becoming graduates. Altogether, more than 1,100 WCPS graduating seniors will take the stage to receive their high school diploma.

School district leaders congratulate the Graduating Class of 2023.
“High school graduation season is always an exciting time of year for the school district,” states Dr. Michael Priddy, WCPS Interim Superintendent. “Our teachers have worked to provide graduates with the tools to achieve this academic milestone and to prepare them to be successful citizens wherever in North Carolina or in the nation their journey in life takes them. We are proud of all of our graduates, and wish them continued success as they move on to college, the military, or the workforce.”
