Three UMO Students Recognized as Spring Scholar Athletes of the Year

Conference Carolinas announced the recipients of its Spring Scholar-Athletes of the Year Presented by Hudl. This prestigious award is bestowed annually upon one outstanding individual in each Conference Carolinas sponsored sport. The Scholar-Athlete of the Year winners are carefully selected by the Conference Carolinas Student-Athlete Affairs and Awards Committee.

To be considered for this esteemed recognition, a student-athlete must have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher. Additionally, nominees for the award must have been named all-conference in their respective sport and have been chosen as academic all-conference.

The Conference Carolinas Spring Scholar-Athletes of the Year Presented by Hudl represent nine different member institutions, each of which is deserving of recognition for their exceptional academic and athletic achievements.

Three University of Mount Olive athletes have been recognized as Spring Scholar-Athletes of the Year. Jack Casbarro, Baseball, Mary Brigid Keck, Woman’s Outdoor Track & Field, and Ali Davis, Women’s Lacrosse have each demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence both on and off the field, and are proud to honor them for their outstanding achievements.
