Wayne County has announced the following schedule changes will be taking place next week in observance of Independence Day:

• County of Wayne Government offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4. Offices will re-open Wednesday, July 5, for regular business hours.
• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed Tuesday. Library branches will be re-open on Wednesday for regular business hours.
• The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 3. The Senior Center will re-open on Wednesday for regular business hours.
• The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Tuesday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Wednesday for regular business hours.
• The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Tuesday. The Animal Shelter will re-open Wednesday for regular business hours.
