On June 25, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office located a suspicious vehicle on Luby Smith Road.

Deputies contacted the driver who was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant. The driver, Joshua Earl Cummings, 36, of 5029 Trappers Rd, Wilson, was subsequently arrested. During the investigation, probable cause was established to search the vehicle in which suspected methamphetamine, heroin and catalytic converters were located.

Cummings was served with his outstanding warrant and charged with the above crimes and turned over to the Wayne County Jail under a secured $10,000.00 bond
