Shirley J. Bell, 79, formerly of Goldsboro, died Friday in New York.

She was born on  August 31, 1943, in Wayne County to the late Leslie Sr. and Essie Crawford. She is survived by four children

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 12 Noon in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Memorial Services. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 12 Noon until 4 PM and on Sunday one hour prior to the service.
