Melissa Annette Hoffman Miles, 47, passed away at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 3, 2023. Born in Germany on September 22, 1975, she was the daughter of Robert Hoffman and the late Sharon Waters Hoffman.

Melissa’s greatest joy in her life was her children. Her love for them knew no bounds. Whether she was taking her kids to different sporting events or cooking them a home cook meal, she would do it with love. No matter what her kids decided to do or play, she was always their biggest cheerleader.

A time of remembrance and visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to her father, Melissa is survived by her children, Heidi Jones and husband, Samuel, Morgan Julian, Justin Julian, and Chase Miles; siblings, David Greer, Michelle Spence, Robert Hoffman, Jr., Victor Hoffman, and John R. Hoffman; and step-mother Maggie Hoffman.

In addition to her mother, Melissa is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Dwayne Miles.
