At approximately 1:14 a.m. on Friday morning, officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to the 100 block of Rockefeller Court regarding a ShotSpotter alert.
Shortly after responding, officers stopped a suspicious vehicle in the area and determined that the driver Travion Lewis, 29, had been shot. EMS was called for Lewis.
Officers were later advised that a second shooting victim Quentin Jackson, 34, arrived by personal vehicle at UNC Health Wayne. Lewis and Jackson were transported to ECU Health Medical Center for further treatment. Lewis and Jackson were both in serious condition but stable.
The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau responded to the scene.
During the course of this investigation, a suspect was developed, and warrants were secured. On Friday, GPD investigators, GPD Patrol B-Shift, and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office took the suspect, Naeisha Faison, 22, into custody at approximately 8 a.m. in the 1200 block of N. Berkeley Blvd. Faison was transported to the Wayne County Magistrate, where she was served with her aforementioned warrants.
Faison has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder. She was placed under a $750,000 secured bond and left in the custody of the Wayne County Detention Center. Faison’s first appearance in court is Aug. 14.
This investigation is ongoing, and additional arrest(s) are anticipated.
