Kyle Gregory Stoner passed away on August 9, 2023, at ECU Health in Greenville. Kyle was born in Franklin County, Pennsylvania to Gregory Stoner and Debra Cruse Stoner.

Kyle had a presence about him that instantly made people feel at ease. He worked as an MRI Technician Assistant at Novant Health and loved taking care of his patients. His co-workers became his second family and he found his home in his work. Some would call him a workaholic but he simply found a place he loved and dedicated his whole self to his work. It was his passion and his gift.

When Kyle wasn’t at work, which wasn’t often, he could be found at the gym. It allowed him stress relief and a way to keep healthy so he could care for others. In his younger years, Kyle made his appearance in plays with the Little River Theater Group in Smithfield. His favorite pastime was reading and watching movies, though he could completely zone out and become immersed in another place for a while.

Kyle was someone who looked after others. His kindness and giving spirit will be missed, especially by those he loved.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Seymour Funeral Home. A Graveside Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Princeton with Pastor Josh Clark officiating.

In addition to his parents, Kyle is survived by his brother, Eric Stoner; his grandmothers, Irma Cruse, and Lois Stoner; his uncle, Rob Cruse (Barbara); his aunts, Linda Stoner (Keith), Lisa Stoner (Dennis), Melinda Heaver (Brian), Theresa Freeman (Mike), and Ginny Lowe; special friend, Jennifer Mapili, along with several nieces and nephews.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ottis Berry Cruse, Jr., and Edward Stoner.
