August 11, 2023, 70, Lucama —

Fred Robert Perry, 70, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023, at his home. Born in Dansville, New York on October 1, 1952, he was the son of the late Arnold Robert Perry and Lillian Elizabeth Fay Perry.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Tonya Marie Perry; son, Kyle Robert Perry; stepsons, David and Jesse Justice; brothers, Ralph Perry (Deborah), Frank Perry (Linda), John Perry (Linda), Kirk Perry; sisters, Fay Jenkins (Keith), Mary Rose Stauring (Craig), Nancy Cogswell (Tom); twenty-five nieces and nephews; forty-five great nieces and nephews; one great-great nephew; brother-in-law, Richard Leta, sister-in-law, Trindalyn Boswell and his fur baby, Bella.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Anne Leta.

Fred was a 1970 high school graduate and attended school in Arkport, New York.  He also graduated from Alfred State College with a major in Agriculture. Fred worked for Smithfield Packaging and was a very dedicated employee. 

In his spare time, Fred could be found playing horseshoes with his son and friends.  He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Fred loved life and lived every day to the fullest. He was a friend to all. 

A memorial service to celebrate Fred’s life will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Home with Pastor David Kriger officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at home.
