Jeffery Lynn Smith, 51, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at his home. Jeff was born in Wayne County on November 4, 1971, to Jerry and Ann Smith, of Goldsboro.

Jeff had worked for over 25 years as a pharmaceutical technician. No love was greater for Jeff than that for his family. Each held a special place in his heart.

A service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Tyson Jarvis Smith and Joshua Vann Smith; and sister, Susan Elizabeth Smith and her husband, Bobby Israel.
