Isaac “Jack” Person Jr., 84, of Pikeville passed away Monday evening, October 2, 2023, at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 6, 2023, from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.

Jack was born in Wayne County on November 1, 1938, and was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Person; his daughter, Jackie Person (Andrew Clark); his son, Mark Person; one stepson, Donovan Dudley (Yolanda); two brothers, Larry Person (Flora) and Thomas Person; four grandchildren, Skylar Clark, Tristen Dudley, Reed Dudley and Nikki Person and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Savannah.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie Person and Ricky Person; his stepson, William Earl Dudley; three brothers, Gene, David, and Bill Person and four sisters, Grace, Linda, Evelyn, and Hilda.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
