Marilyn Kathryn Brobst, 75, departed this life for life eternal with her Lord on Monday, October 30, 2023. Marilyn was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, one of 7 children, to the late Charles and Irene Brobst on March 29, 1948.

Dedicated to her work, Marilyn served 20 years as a valuable employee of AT&T and later became an employee of Moore’s Optometry before retiring from Lowes.

A private service will be held at a later date in Petersburg, Virginia.

Marilyn is survived by her sister, Linda Brobst Casey, and husband, Ray; niece, Kimberly Casey; nephew, Kenneth Lamon; sister, Janice Keener, and husband, Kenny; niece, Becky Patterson and husband, Cameron and their daughter, Reagan; nephews, Ricky Chavis and Andy Chavis; and her beloved k-9 friend, Charlie. She is also survived by her daughter, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
