County of Wayne Government Offices have announced the following schedule changes will be taking place in observance of Christmas:

• County of Wayne Government Offices closed on Dec. 25 through Dec. 27. Offices will re-open for regular business hours on Dec. 28.
• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed from Dec. 25 through  Dec. 27. Branches will re-open on Thursday, Dec. 28 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
• The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed from Dec. 23 through Dec. 27.
• The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed on Dec. 25. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open for regular business hours on Dec. 26.
• The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed from Dec. 23 through Dec. 27.

The following schedule changes will be taking place in observance of New Year’s Day:

• County of Wayne Government Offices will be closed on Jan. 1 and will re-open on Jan. 2 for regular business hours.
• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed on Jan. 1. All libraries will re-open on Jan. 2 for regular business hours.
• The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed on Jan. 1.
• The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed on Jan. 1 and will re-open on Jan. 2 for regular business hours..
• The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed from Dec. 30 through Jan. 1.
