Edgar Lee McFee, 52, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Wayne UNC Health Care. He was affectionally known by everyone as “Tiny” and was loved by all who knew him. Tiny was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Edward Leroy McFee, Sr. and June McNeil McFee on August 31, 1971.

Tiny worked in the moving industry for many years. He always enjoyed traveling across the United States and exploring different states while working. Tiny was currently working as a truck driver with Lazer Logistics.

Tiny had many interests but collecting Hot Wheels and listening to some good music, especially Eminem, was always a good day for him. He also enjoyed the many muscle cars he owned through the years and his favorite car was his blue IROC-Z.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Tiny’s life at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Jimmy Bryant officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024, in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. At other times, the family will be at the home of Edward McFee, 1954 Rosewood Road, Goldsboro.

Tiny is survived by his wife, Tonya Denise McFee; daughter, Samantha Lee Krom and husband, Ethan; brothers, Ed McFee, Elvis McFee (Hollie), Chris McFee (Kat), and Clifford McFee; eleven nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a special aunt, Audrey Purvis, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins he loved very much.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edwin Leroy McFee and Ernie McFee; maternal grandparents, John Andrew McNeil and Marian Mercedes Knox McNeil; paternal grandparents, Esley Leroy McFee and Roberta Stevens McFee; and his special friends, John Ashley Vanderburg and John Lewis Chapman.

Memorials may be given in Tiny’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
