On Feb. 7, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office patrol shift ’’A’’ were conducting a routine patrol in the area of NC 111 South near Broadhurst Road.

A traffic stop was conducted where Mariyana Khari Artis, 19, Goldsboro, was in possession of suspected Marijuana, MDMA, and drug paraphernalia.

Artis was charged with the listed crimes and turned over to the Wayne County Jail under a $7,500 secured bond.
