Janet Patricia Bailey, 84, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

“Ms. Pat” as she was known to so many was born July 21, 1939, in Wayne County to the late Florence Woodard Brown (Houston). She attended Carrboro Methodist Church and worked at the church Daycare and afterschool for over 20 years. She lovingly cared for many children through the years and made a lifelong impact. After moving from Carrboro, she attended Oak Grove Church where she was welcomed and loved by many.

The family will receive family and friends for a graveside service on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11 am at the Bailey family cemetery in Middlesex NC.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Kelly Bailey Siler (Jay) of Siler City; grandchildren, Tre Newell, Jacob, and Lia Carter; One sister, Rachel Talton and many special In-laws and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ransom Bailey, and son, Michael Ransom Bailey, and sisters, Clara, Marie, and Dorothy.
