Betty Jane Holloway

March 11, 2024, 93, Seven Springs –

Betty Jane Holloway, 93, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Audubon, New Jersey to the late Rufus Frank Pack and Bertha Mortimer Pack on August 3, 1930. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, F. Betty retired as a teacher assistant in 2020 from WAGES in Goldsboro. Her friendly demeanor and constant smile combined with her knowledge and genuine care for others made her the perfect fit for her career. Not only was she good at her job, she enjoyed every minute of it.

Devoted to her family, Betty was a constant companion and the best of friends with her husband, Thomas. She especially enjoyed their time camping and being outdoors. The opportunity to work and see God’s beauty in her yard was always something she looked forward to.

A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Cornerstone Church, 401 N. Oak Forest Road, Goldsboro.

Betty is survived by her son, Frank Holtz and wife, Karen of Seven Springs; step-son, Roland Holloway and wife, Claire of Delaware; a “special grandson,” Steven Smith and wife, Melody of Seven Springs; step-daughter, Marguerite H. Duncan and husband, Tike; brother, George Pack of Connecticut; sister, Mary Reynolds of New Jersey; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews she loved very much.
