Wayne County Public Schools is offering a free career and technical education camp this summer for middle school students.
The camps will offer students an opportunity to learn about a different career each day through hands-on activities and take-aways.
Wayne County Public Schools will offer three separate week-long camps for students in different areas of the county, and lunch and transportation will be provided each day. Camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day.
The first camp is July 8-11 at Rosewood High School for students from Rosewood Middle School, Dillard Middle School and Greenwood Middle School.
The second camp is July 15-18 at Charles B. Aycock High School for students from Eastern Wayne Middle School and Norwayne Middle School.
The final camp is July 22-25 at Spring Creek High School for students from Brogden Middle School, Grantham Middle School, Mount Olive Middle School, and Spring Creek Middle School.
