The Cures for the Colors Survivor Banquet is just around the corner, and there are only two weeks left to register for this event.
The banquet is scheduled for 10 a.m. on June 22, at the Maxwell Center, and it’s dedicated to honoring and celebrating all those who have battled cancer.
Sponsored by Southeastern Medical Oncology Center, the Cures for the Colors Survivor Banquet will provide a memorable morning of support, inspiration, and camaraderie.
The event is free to attend, and each survivor is welcome to bring one guest. Highlights of the event include a delicious brunch, motivational words from guest speaker Pastor Jamal Hyman of Abide Bible Church, and exciting door prizes and raffle items.
This special occasion aims to bring together those who are currently fighting cancer, in remission, or have triumphed over the disease, creating a supportive community of strength and resilience.
“We are eagerly anticipating this year’s Survivor Banquet and look forward to celebrating the incredible courage and strength of all attendees,” says Emma Barnes, Director of Southeastern Cancer Care. “With only two weeks left to register, we encourage everyone to secure their spots soon.”

Southeastern Cancer Care was founded in 2011 by the doctors at Southeastern Medical Oncology Center.
The doctors saw firsthand the need to support cancer patients financially as they battled their cancer diagnosis so that patients would not have to choose between treatment and basic living essentials.
Southeastern Cancer Care is a 501 C3 organization dedicated to providing gas cards and grocery cards, as well as help with utility bills and oncology prescriptions.
All of the funds raised go directly to cancer patients and their families. Southeastern Cancer Care runs completely off monetary donations, volunteers’ time, and resources.
