Dr. Brandy Daingerfield, director of Wayne Community College’s Academic Skills Center, has written an article that was published in an academic journal.

Her article, titled “The Stigma of Tutoring,” is included in Volume 3, Issue 1 of The North Carolina Community College Journal of Teaching Innovation (NCCCJTI), which is published by the North Carolina Community College Faculty Association.

It is an opinion piece urging educators to avoid promoting negative associations with tutoring in educational environments.
