Community Awareness Forum Being Held on Friday

The Well Community Development Corporation is hosting a Community Awareness Forum at 7:30 p.m. on June 21 at The Well Community Development Center, located at 1077 N. Berkeley Blvd.

Join us for an impactful event featuring expert panelists including Goldsboro Mayor Charles Gaylor, Mount Olive Mayor Dr. Jerome Newton, Beverly Weeks from Cry Freedom Missions, and Community Advocate Cedric Herring.

The forum will be moderated by Advocate Dr. Christopher Paul and Tenisha Sanders of The Well CDC.

The Community Awareness Forum will provide those in attendance the opportunity to gain insights from subject matter experts on critical social issues, to engage in panel discussions and a Q&A session with community leaders.

There will also be the ability to connect with local organizations at resource tables, including domestic violence awareness groups, Alzheimer’s support organizations, gun safety advocacy groups, and human trafficking awareness organizations.
