Starting pitcher Garrett Byrd allowed one run over six innings and Davis Albert hit a home run as Wayne County Post 11 completed a sweep of Roanoke with a 6-2 win in game three of their Area 1 East best-of-five first round playoff series on Thursday night at Carolina Athletic Park.

Wayne County (27-8) continues postseason play at 7 p.m. on Monday at Carolina Athletic Park against an opponent to be determined.
