The County of Wayne issued a statement on Thursday morning informing residents that Jackson, Tampa, Ninth, and Tenth streets are closed due to water being over the road as Tropical Storm Debby continues to bring rain to the area.
Current projections show the Neuse River cresting at 24 feet early Monday morning, which will impact the Mar-Mac area, Buckhorn Island subdivision, Stevens Mill Road, Arrington Bridge Road, and access roads around Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
Wayne County remains under a flood watch until 9 p.m. on Friday.
Do not call 911 to report a power outage. Please report outages to your utility provider.
