MOUNT OLIVE — Nelson Street Park in Mount Olive was full on Saturday as families and local law enforcement officers turned out in anticipation of the coming school year at Men of Faith, Integrity and Character’s annual book bag giveaway.
Book bags were distributed to children in attendance, the Mt. Olive Pickle train gave children rides around the park, and officers with the Mount Olive Police Department cooked hot dogs.
