SMSgt. William Theodore Langley, USAF, Retired, 79, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. He was born in Nash County on May 7, 1945.
William is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kirsten Thiel Langley; children, Christy L. Owens (Steve), William Langley, IV (Lisa), and Annette DeBord; grandchildren, Faith Alvarez (Aaron), Tanner Debord (Jayden), Jacob Owens, Austin Langley, Hunter Langley, Abby Clarke; great-grandchildren, Ellie Debord and Oliver Alvarez; and a brother, Frank Langley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robby Langley, and sister Ann Riggins.
In addition to his dedicated service in the military for 26 years William also retired as a senior manager with Boeing Aerospace in San Antonio, Texas. He held an A/P license and was a Vietnam Veteran. Flying and airplanes were his passion.
At this time, no formal services will be held.
