WCC, Campbell University Announce Guaranteed Admission Program

Wayne Community College and Campbell University are partnering to offer the College’s graduates assured admission into the university.

Through the Campbell Assured Admission Program, students who are enrolled at WCC are given an assured-entry pathway to Campbell University upon graduating with their associate’s degree, providing a seamless transfer process.

Eligible students must be working toward an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree at WCC to qualify for this program. They must enroll at the university within one academic year of completing their associate’s degree.

Other WCC degree programs may develop an articulation agreement for the Campbell Assured Admission Program in the future.

A signing ceremony was held at WCC, marking the official beginning of the partnership between the two institutions.

“Knowing that they have guaranteed admission to Campbell University once they graduate from WCC will certainly inspire our students to continue taking the next steps in higher education,” said WCC President Patty Pfeiffer.

“I’m a firm believer in the work of community colleges,” said Campbell University President J. Bradley Creed, mentioning that community colleges “make life better for so many people.”

“We’re really pleased about this,” Creed said during the signing ceremony. “We’re going to work hard to make this partnership even better and make a difference in the lives of our students.”
