September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month, and in partnership with The Blood Connection and Piedmont Health Services and Sickle Cell Agency, The Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary, Court #388 is hosting a blood drive from Noon to 5 on Sept. 21 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. 

St. Mary’s is located at 1603 Edgerton Street in Goldsboro.

Donations of this drive will directly serve those in Wayne County.

Participants will receive $30 in rewards and The Blood Connection will $10 per donor to Sickle Cell Awareness.
