DUDLEY — On Monday at approximately 7:45 am, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an unresponsive subject lying in the middle of Camp Trailee Road.

After deputies arrived on the scene, they located an unknown black male who had been murdered.

Detectives and crime scene investigators have responded to the scene and have begun their investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office will release additional information as it becomes available.
