September 30, 2024, 59, Lillington —

Roy Lee Trogdon, 59, of Lillington passed away at Universal Health Care (Lillington Assisted Living) on September 30, 2024.  He was born on November 16, 1964, to the late Thomas Fletcher Trogdon, Sr., and Nancy Pauline Pounds Trogdon.

Lee liked to be outside and loved feeding the kittys and birds.  He also was a welder and at one time loved building. 

Lee loved the “Word” and was always ordering Bible books, and his favorite was a leather-bound Bible with his full name engraved.  Lee loved his family, He had a giving heart and will be truly missed. 

He is survived by his brothers: Thomas Fletcher Trogdon, Jr. (Shelia), and Harold Trogdon (Cathy); sisters, Jeanette Mayo (Dwight) and Denise Johnson (Randy) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 3 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.

The funeral will be held in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 3 pm with his brother, Harold Trogdon, and Pastor Jimmy Lambert officiating. There will be a private burial after the service.
